Huntsville. AL: Community AED Map Project
Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, to anyone. An AED can be the difference between life and death, but only if people know where it is and can access it quickly.
Our AED Map Project helps identify and document publicly accessible AEDs in our community so responders can act fast when every second counts.
90%
Nearly 90% of all cardiact emergencies are fatal without immediate intervention
50-70%
Survival rates can reach 50–70% with rapid CPR and early defibrillation
Our AED Community Map identifies and documents publicly accessible AED locations across Huntsville
Each listing includes:
- Facility name and address
- Where the AED is located inside the building
- Accessibility status (24/7 access or business-hours only)
- Any entry instructions if required
- Emergency contact number, if available
